Work it Out while at Work?
Here are a few quick workout tips that can be done at your desk!
Exercise One: Side Stretches: With your arms over your head or hands placed on hips, lean from side to side several times throughout the day to build a strong core.
Exercise Two: Arm Raises: To prevent carpel tunnel, back strains, or other ailments; you can do arm raises and stretches. This will also reduce that stubborn fat that jiggles every time you wave!
Exercise Three: Butt Squeezes: Simply squeeze and release butt muscles several times.
Exercise Four: Leg Lifts: At your desk, you can easily straighten your knees and lift your legs out in front of you. You can also march with your feet in place. This will exercise the large muscles in your legs. For easy calf exercises, you can raise your feet up on the toes and lower them.
Exercise Five: Stress Reliever: Although all of these exercises help to reduce stress, there are a few that directly target stress. Stretch your neck, and rotate head from side to side; this reduces the stress on the back. Stretching arms outward, and bending hands at wrist relieve stress on hands to prevent carpal tunnel and pain that can be caused by typing.

Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff…Part 2
The Quick-Style Guide
A quick-fix regimen when starting a workout program can be a real challenge for most women. When we get focused on fitness some of us will cut our hair short, get braids, or add hair extensions. Those are options that you can choose, but don't ever feel forced to have to change your style. There are ways to keep your hair styled without making an atypical change just to manage your hair. After your quick-fix shampoo and condition, you are ready for the next part.
- Step 1. Wrap your head with a towel while you dry off.
- Step 2. Remove the towel and lightly apply a leave-in conditioner.
- Step 3. Apply a sculptor setting lotion to your hairline. If your hair is curly, apply a moisturizer before the sculpting lotion, then smooth your hair back flat if it's short, or gather it into a ponytail using a cloth holder for longer hair.
- Step 4. Spray a sculpting mist to your hair and hairline, and then tie a satin scarf around the hairline.
- Step 5. Comb your hair into the desire quick-fix style.
Don’t Sweat It Points:
- Avoid conditioning shampoos, because they will add buildup.
- Use a clarifying shampoo with a pH range between 4.5 and 5.5.
- Rinse with a strong water force.
- You can enjoy your workouts and have great hair. Just remember to care for your body's fitness your hair as care for your hair's fitness.

Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff…Part 1
We all know that working out does help us feel and look better. It helps us to push back the hands of time as we age. But we also know that some of us have issues with working out because we don’t know what to do with our hair after we workout.
We’re here to tell you…do not sweat the small stuff when it comes to your health. That’s right: you can work out and still maintain great hair!
Here are some smart tips to challenge yourself on whether to workout versus not working out. If you have time to shower after a workout, you have time to do all that is necessary for your hair and scalp. By the time you finish your shower, you will have a clean and conditioned hair and scalp.
Clean and Condition
- Step 1. In the shower rinse your hair as you rinse your body.
- Step 2. Apply shampoo to your hair as you lather your body. Using an acid-balanced shampoo is safe on your hair, scalp, and body, and it saves time.
- Step 3. Rinse your hair and body.
- Step 4. Apply conditioner and let it sit while you shave your legs or lather your body one more time.
- Step 5. Rinse your hair as you rinse your body.
You are now clean and conditioned from head to toe.
