I Heart Hair Inc. at the Indiana Black Expo 2014

I Heart Hair Inc.attended the 44th annual Indiana Black Expo Summer Celebration July 18-20. The ladies of I Heart Hair Inc. were in full swing as they introduced the Hoosiers to I Heart Hair Inc. hair extensions and accessories. I Heart Hair also teamed up with a local stylist Christina Lockett from MDG Salon/Studo to demo a live traditional sew-in and a braidless sew-in.  Here are a few a pictures to recap the summer celebration.

Easy to-go-buns!

Many people like to call these hairstyles the "ballerina bun". This hairstyle is very versatile, it can be classy or casual with little or no effort. Retrieve this look with the following steps:

1. Brush your hair throughly towards the rear,center, or lower side of your head (depending on preference)
2. Wrap or tuck your hair around the ponytail.
3. Finally, pin your hair down with bobby pins to secure the bun.

Summertime Curls!

With summertime being here it is sometimes hard to keep up with our straight hairstyles. Solve your humidity, heat, and frizz problems by keeping hair perfectly curled with a curling wand. Steps below:

1) Part hair in sections as you curl to make it easier. Hold curling wand above head and hold it facing down. Hold wand in one hand while using other hand to wrap hair around wand. 

2) To achieve super tight curls wrap smaller sections of hair around wand closely together.

3) For more of a wave look use bigger sections of hair and wrap hair around wand wider and more spaced apart. 

4) Finish with a light holding spray.
