Natural Remedies to Get Rid of Blackheads
Blackheads
are open pores clogged with dead skin and oil; which are most common in teens
and pre-menstrual women. These irritating blemishes occur most often on
and around the nose putting them dead center in the middle of the face where
they are most noticeable. So of course, we want to get rid of them as
quickly as possible.
Here
are a few of the best and fastest all-natural remedies for banishing those
annoying little blackheads.
1.
Oatmeal
soothes irritation, removes dead skin cells, and soaks up excess oil to help
clarify the complexion.
·
Using
distilled water (free of contaminants), cook enough oatmeal to cover your
blackheads.
·
Cool
oats to room temperature before applying to affected areas.
·
Leave
on for ten to twenty minutes then rinse with lukewarm water.
2.
Cinnamon
is an anti-bacterial spice that can be used to make an aromatic face mask for
removal of blackheads.
·
Mix
one part organic cinnamon with two parts honey to form a paste.
·
Apply
a thin layer over blackheads.
·
Leave
on for at least fifteen minutes.
·
Wash
off with your favorite all-natural cleanser, then follow up with a moisturizer.
3.
Honey
is both anti-bacterial and antiseptic, making it another great choice for those
with acne-related blackheads.
·
Heat
about a tablespoon of pure raw
honey in a small jar until it is warm to the touch. (A
good way to do this is by placing the
jar into a bowl of very hot water.)
·
Dab
warm honey onto blackheads and let it soak in for about ten minutes.
·
Remove
with a warm, damp cloth.
·
This
treatment can also be left on overnight. Repeat daily for best results.

How to: Properly Remove Make-Up
Do you feel like you still a layer of make-up on once its been removed? Well here are a few tips that may help you achieve that clean feeling once make-up has been removed and you have cleansed your skin.
Mascara and eye-liner are the hardest to get off since the skin around the eyes is sensitive. Cotton balls leave fibers behind, so use a cotton pad with an oil based remover. Close your eyes and hold them over your lids and lashes for about ten seconds to give the remover time to dissolve the waxes before wiping.
Your daily cleanser should be sufficient to take off foundation and blush. Massage the cleanser over your face and let it sit for 15 seconds, and don't forget your hairline, under your chin, and around your ears. Then wipe with a wet, white cotton washcloth, so you can really see that all the makeup is gone.
A cotton pad soaked in liquid or cream makeup remover should take off most lipsticks. You need an oily formula only if the lipstick is long-wearing or intensely pigmented.

How To: Apply False Lashes
How To: Apply False Lashes
Have you ever spent hours in front of the mirror trying to apply fake eyelashes, only to end up with them sticking out at strange angles; or worse fall off completely after a few hours? Here are a few steps to help prefect your application.
Measure the length of the lash to make sure it fits your eye shape. If the strip needs to be cut to fit, snip the outer edge completely off with small nail scissors.
Take both edges of the lash and bend inward to create a “C” shape, and hold for a couple of seconds. That’s the best way to take out the straightness and ensure it molds to our curved eye shape and stays put without the corners lifting up
Apply a high-quality glue such as DUO Eyelash Adhesive for lasting. If you have a steady hand, you can squeeze straight to the lash.
Aim for the base of your natural lash line, right on top of your real lashes, not touching the eyelid at all.

How to: Apply Foundation
The right foundation will even out your skin tone and give you the appearance of flawless skin. But you have to do it right, otherwise you risk looking like a clown! Follow these steps for a flawless complexion.
*Find your perfect color
*Test foundation on your jawline and check it in the daylight. The color is correct if it disappears without blending.
*For the perfect canvas, make sure your skin is clean and moisturized. Wait five minutes before you apply foundation to let moisturizer sink in.
*If you want just a little coverage, use your fingers. For more coverage, use a sponge. The Beauty-blender Cosmetic Sponge is a favorite among pros: It leaves just the right amount on the skin.
*Luminous Powder: New translucent powders reflect the light help skin glow and take down shine. Dust one in a W motion. Starting at your hairline on one side, swoop down to your cheekbone, up to the bridge of your nose, back down the other cheek, then up again to the opposite hairline.

How to Fill-in Eyebrows
Eyebrows are one of the most important features of your face; they are incredibly expressive, draw attention to your eyes, and add dimension to your face. If you suffer from brows that are too light or very sparse, you can easily fix your situation by filling them in! Using some basic makeup techniques, you'll be on your way to ideal eyebrows in no time.
Create the arch in your brow. Use your pencil or brush to find the best place for your natural arch in your brow. (Top and bottom)
Options for eyebrow fillers include a brow pencil, brow powder, or a brow cream/gel. Powders create the most natural look while pencils offer a more defined look. Match the color of your filler to your natural hair color.
Use a spoolie brush or a clear brow gel to brush through your eyebrows. This will pick up excess color and distribute it evenly as you put your hairs in line
This is an optional step. If you want to clean your brows, you can highlight under the brow. It creates a clean and more arched look.

How to Find the Perfect Bra
A bra is something that women often take for granted, but finding the right bra can do wonders for both your appearance and self esteem. It may take time to find the right bra for you but remember: you're worth it! Here’s a few step to help you find the perfect bra.
1. Find a good retailer. While bras are widely available, most stores cater to “average” sizes. Find a store or a brand that is particularly suited to your body type.
2. Plan your budget beforehand. Bras can be expensive, but it’s important not to sacrifice good fit for the sake of paying less.
3. Always try on your bra before you buy it. Your size is just a starting point, as sizing can vary and every bra will fit a little bit differently.
4. Know which styles are flattering. The shape of your breasts and torso are unique. Depending on your particular proportions, certain styles will look better on you than others.
Your bra will look better if it flatters the overall proportion of your torso. Ideally, your shoulders should look about the same width as your hips.
If your shoulders are broad, try to find bras with narrower set straps, and a shape that plunges more in the middle.
If your shoulders are narrow, consider bras that create a more distinct horizontal line across your torso.
If your torso is short, a bra that plunges more in the middle can elongate your torso.
Consider the shape of your breasts. There is a wide variety of breast shapes and sizes. To understand how to classify your breasts.
5. Try moving around, to make sure the bra stays put. Put your arms above your head and twist left and right at the waist.
6. Modify your bra if needed. There are plenty of add-ons that can make your bras more comfortable
7. Make peace with your breasts. If you're unhappy with your body, bra shopping can be a truly unpleasant experience. However, it's important to remember that every woman's body is unique, but bras are mass produced. No bra can ever be made to look good on everyone.
