How to: Properly Remove Make-Up
Do you feel like you still a layer of make-up on once its been removed? Well here are a few tips that may help you achieve that clean feeling once make-up has been removed and you have cleansed your skin.
Mascara and eye-liner are the hardest to get off since the skin around the eyes is sensitive. Cotton balls leave fibers behind, so use a cotton pad with an oil based remover. Close your eyes and hold them over your lids and lashes for about ten seconds to give the remover time to dissolve the waxes before wiping.
Your daily cleanser should be sufficient to take off foundation and blush. Massage the cleanser over your face and let it sit for 15 seconds, and don't forget your hairline, under your chin, and around your ears. Then wipe with a wet, white cotton washcloth, so you can really see that all the makeup is gone.
A cotton pad soaked in liquid or cream makeup remover should take off most lipsticks. You need an oily formula only if the lipstick is long-wearing or intensely pigmented.

How To: Apply False Lashes
How To: Apply False Lashes
Have you ever spent hours in front of the mirror trying to apply fake eyelashes, only to end up with them sticking out at strange angles; or worse fall off completely after a few hours? Here are a few steps to help prefect your application.
Measure the length of the lash to make sure it fits your eye shape. If the strip needs to be cut to fit, snip the outer edge completely off with small nail scissors.
Take both edges of the lash and bend inward to create a “C” shape, and hold for a couple of seconds. That’s the best way to take out the straightness and ensure it molds to our curved eye shape and stays put without the corners lifting up
Apply a high-quality glue such as DUO Eyelash Adhesive for lasting. If you have a steady hand, you can squeeze straight to the lash.
Aim for the base of your natural lash line, right on top of your real lashes, not touching the eyelid at all.

How to: Apply Foundation
The right foundation will even out your skin tone and give you the appearance of flawless skin. But you have to do it right, otherwise you risk looking like a clown! Follow these steps for a flawless complexion.
*Find your perfect color
*Test foundation on your jawline and check it in the daylight. The color is correct if it disappears without blending.
*For the perfect canvas, make sure your skin is clean and moisturized. Wait five minutes before you apply foundation to let moisturizer sink in.
*If you want just a little coverage, use your fingers. For more coverage, use a sponge. The Beauty-blender Cosmetic Sponge is a favorite among pros: It leaves just the right amount on the skin.
*Luminous Powder: New translucent powders reflect the light help skin glow and take down shine. Dust one in a W motion. Starting at your hairline on one side, swoop down to your cheekbone, up to the bridge of your nose, back down the other cheek, then up again to the opposite hairline.

How to Fill-in Eyebrows
Eyebrows are one of the most important features of your face; they are incredibly expressive, draw attention to your eyes, and add dimension to your face. If you suffer from brows that are too light or very sparse, you can easily fix your situation by filling them in! Using some basic makeup techniques, you'll be on your way to ideal eyebrows in no time.
Create the arch in your brow. Use your pencil or brush to find the best place for your natural arch in your brow. (Top and bottom)
Options for eyebrow fillers include a brow pencil, brow powder, or a brow cream/gel. Powders create the most natural look while pencils offer a more defined look. Match the color of your filler to your natural hair color.
Use a spoolie brush or a clear brow gel to brush through your eyebrows. This will pick up excess color and distribute it evenly as you put your hairs in line
This is an optional step. If you want to clean your brows, you can highlight under the brow. It creates a clean and more arched look.

Cosmetic Check-Up
Take
this opportunity to check the expiration dates on all your cosmetics and
skincare products. Each product has a specific shelf life and using them
past their expiration dates is not the best practice. Bacteria can grow quite
easily from air getting trapped inside containers. Also using your fingers for
application can contribute to contamination.
